  It felt a little long on second viewing personally. However the twist with Michael Keaton is well worth it and it's also nice to see a Spiderman that's actually young. And of course subverting expectations with a young Aunt May and the reveal of who MJ is at the end. Lots of unexpected but enjoyable points.

  Such a good original horror thriller. I feel the franchise has muddied the integrity of the first film which is a shame. It was definitely a big influence on noughties horror films this it's colouring, pushing the gore and torture boundaries. Can see a huge Se7en influence too, which I enjoy.
