  barbara hammer actually sooo radical becuz she refuses to do experimental frilly arthouse documentaries abt queer + lesbian artist lives!!!! this is soo simple and unflashy and literally is just a pretty linear and clear telling of the lives of step sisters who are artists and actually also genderqueer lesbian lovers. and thank god!!!!!

  really loved that this is structured around interviews with claude and marcel's neighbours. i think by speaking with/in the actual community of people they lived with…
