Gregory Crewdson: Brief Encounters 2012
BEAUTIFUL images. Really spectacular stuff. The process Gregory goes through for his art is very specific and particular, yet he is so adaptable to conditions and factors he can't control.
This is a fascinating documentary about his process and his photographs. Very beautiful images, and the contrast between the film look of the behind the scenes, with the stark and deep focus of the talking heads and actual photographs is strategically used to bring the attention to the pictures Gregory curates.
His process is truly astounding, and I love the small details in his art. It's so real and clear that it looks fake. Wonderful pictures!

Actually not as cheesy stock-card as I thought it was going to be. Was watching it to watch something basic and holiday, but was pleasantly surprised with how funny this movie is.
