I think this movie easily could’ve been really depressing but I like how fun they made it. Also lowkey SELFCEST PART???… I can imagine the fanarts.

Oh this is really fun and unapologetically proud to be Chinese. I don’t freaking care about the netizens hating on the small eyes CAN YOU NOT SEE HOW PROUD THIS FILM IS OF BEING CHINESE AND OF CHINESE CULTURE? I actually really love the designs and I think they are cute. The animation for the lion dancing is AWESOME especially the 2d sequence in the front. The lighting and colors are very pretty too.

I liked it. It was a VERY pretty film. Just in awe with the visuals. I’m not Christian so um don’t relate to it at all and just by story standpoint it’s just a bible story so they can’t change it or anything but the story is not something I resonate with either.
