Mad Max: Fury Road 2015
Oomfs and I thought this would be a little more like normal action movie vibes like car chase around the desert with a couple shootouts so we were a little surprised by the opening aesthetics of mad max being dragged headfirst by a car with his head in a cage while his blood was siphoned and a heavy metal guitarist played songs during a high speed chase but it was very interesting. It did have me locked in almost the entire time. We all just wanna be witnessed…

Poor Things 2023
The Saltburn-Eileen-poor things trifecta (all within a week) broke my brain but I did enjoy. It was funny and shocking and just a little too long. It veered at points into being corny and contrived but then it would save itself by being completely bizarre. Emma stone absolutely killed
