The Big Year 2011
I love geeky things, and i love nature. Birding is just about as geeky as it gets, and its proximity to nature makes it great. The Big Year makes me want to get into birding every time I watch it. But I have more patience for watching movies than watching birds, so there's that.
The cast works really great, I think! Just as weird and great as birding itself.
It's a film that I forget how much I like until it's suddenly on some obscure tv channel at weird hours, and I just have to watch it again, cause it's great. Easy as that! :)

The Interview 2014
Pretty stupid. I don't like it when Franco fritzes out and becomes a super amplified version of a version of himself. Although he did just that in 'This is the End', that was a more tolerable version of a version of himself than in this farce. A lot of this plot and it's characters just pissed me off, really. So that's that.

Another Year 2010
I keep forgetting what a gem this actually is. When I first saw it all I did was cringe the whole way through. The second time - much the same. Watching it again today in a room full of people made me realise how funny, clever and sweet it actually is. Amazing performances by the entre cast - Leigh sure doesn't subscribe to Hitchcock's theory stating 'actors are cattle'. :)
