To me, 'Nosferatu' was perfect. Usually when remakes are announced, I can't help but feel a bit wary, but as soon as I heard Robert Eggers was doing this project, I knew it was in good hands. He really is the right director for this.

I really appreciate how true it stays to the 1922 film, and Eggers really treated the source material with so much respect, yet managed to make it his own.

What always stands out for me…

Figured I'd finally write a bit of a review about my favourite film. Nowadays I weirdly put this on as a comfort film, only to remember halfway through that it isn't so comforting after all. I love how 'Wolf Creek' is grounded in realism, which makes it such a bleak and disturbing watch, that crawls under your skin.

I think the introduction of the characters is so well done. I find Ben, Liz and Kristy incredibly likeable and they are…

Had such a great time with this and thought it was an enjoyable watch.

Visually it looked pretty great and I really liked the creature designs, as well as some of the environments. I enjoyed the chemistry between Anya Taylor-Joy and Miles Teller as well. Good mix between romance and action, albeit a little bit cliché here and there.

The plot might be a bit derivative - also, the more you think about it, the sillier it gets - and…

'Sometimes I Think About Dying' resonated with me deeply, and I can't really put into words why - it's more of a feeling, and this film captured that feeling perfectly.

'Longlegs' was my most anticipated film of this year, and holy fucking shit, did this tick all the right boxes for me.

Oz Perkins is a master of suspense and atmosphere, creating tension that's almost tangible with lingering shots that are framed in such a way that had me constantly scanning the background, waiting for something to pop up. And sometimes it did, in the most unexpected moments. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. The…

Ohh such a shame. There's a good film hidden in here somewhere, the ingredients are definitely there, but this just... wasn't it?

Started quite alright, thinking it wasn't so bad, and I was vibing with it until I, well, wasn't. Something about the acting, as well as the editing, made this an unintentionally funny ordeal. It does nothing interesting with its premise and relies on every horror cliché you can think of.

Could've done with an epilepsy warning btw. Luckily I'm not sensitive to flashing lights, but if you are, you might want to skip this one.

Tune is annoyingly catchy though. Tuuutuuutuuutuuu.
