this definitely might just be a me problem judging from the general consensus of this film but i feel like a rewatch is desperately needed solely because something about that final act left me completely scatterbrained at the cinemas, and till now i can’t exactly decipher if it is a tonal shift/pacing situation or some mysterious second option i haven’t figured out yet?
other than that though, this was still a pretty solid film that came with eerily relevant takes…

Oppenheimer 2023
on one hand, i felt like i needed to rewire my own brain just to digest some of the dialogue in this film. BUT on the other hand, i never thought i could remain so tense in a 3-hour movie where they kept calling robert oppenheimer “oppie”.
p.s: idk how any of you guys managed to watch barbie back to back with a film like this…
