Taxi Driver 1976
lil taxi porn, lil same action jacket. deNiro looking like so normal is kind of jarring. Actors never look like humans anymore. I hope Hollywood dissolves to a point where every movie just takes a shot on a new actor. It's so refreshing putting a new face on new characters in a new film. Like in 1917. Only Benedict at the end. Worthwhile thought. Normal ole people.

Kate McKinnon is a spectacular actor. She’s the highlight in almost every movie I see her in.
This was clearly a female empowerment film. My guess is that this movie is possibly the female equivalent to so many of the “coming of age” male movies that really speak to me. But I’ve always understood when woman says that “fight club just doesn’t make sense to me” or “the place beyond the pines was just fine”. So, I think it’s reasonable…
