This was so fun the whole time. Jake and Elwood are iconic and you learn everything you need to know about them right away. Just about every joke landed and I low key want to convince my girlfriend to do a Blues Brothers couples costume for next Halloween.
I wanted to like it so badly. I REALLY wanted to like it. The aesthetics were so cool, the use of color was amazing, every environment was something I would want to play a Souls game in, and the characters' mannerisms and cult-like activities had me feeling just the right amount of disturbed and unsettled.

This movie kicks so much ass. I hardly use this app and I'm sure everyone already knows this movie is amazing, but I still felt the need to repeat it.
Bomb ass soundtrack, amazing visual metaphors, memorable characters.
You live the whole main character's life and learn the answers to his questions on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. And the ONLY times he doesn't know the answer to a question, WE'RE in the dark with him and using our own logic and intuition.
Genius.
Did I mention the soundtrack fucks?
I loved it. Plenty of spooks, but not in a cheap way. The story was cool, having good twists and telling the dramatic irony stuff to the main character in a fun natural way.
Honestly, for whatever flaws there were, I was distracted by the aesthetics the whole time. Every shot looked like it was out of Yarnham in Bloodborne, Irithil of the Boreal Valley and The Painted World of Ariandel in Dark Souls 3.
