A Real Pain 2024
There is nothing about this movie I didn’t love! Jesse Eisenberg and Kieran Culkin were phenomenal. Their relationship was one I and I assume many others, could relate to.
I didn’t know a whole lot about this movie before going to watch it. I didn’t think I would be crying in the movie until it was revealed they were going to Poland to see the concentration camp where they’re grandma was kept…and yet I found myself not crying during the concentration camp scene but during the scenes where the raw emotions were pouring out.

If I’m honest I did not expect a lot from this movie, it was giving incredibles 2 vibes but worse, which says a lot…however I really really enjoyed it! The humour was great, had lots of giggles. The story line is a classic and someone what predictable - “cool” character gets stuck with the “weird” character. Cool character secretly likes the weird character. Cool character remembers he’s supposed to be cool, breaks weird characters heart then gets over himself and they end up friends. And yet despite the predictability still a very enjoyable movie.

Very over dramatic, not the best of acting from gal gadot, even more slow mos and yet there were still a couple of redeeming moments. Definitely fits into the category of sequels where the original is 10 x better.
