I have seen this movie eight times. I spent all of 2019 thinking about it. I have the day I saw it first marked on my calendar for this June as 'Rocketman Day' so that I can take a second on June 25th and think about this movie and how it changed my life, made sense of my self perception, and showed me my own aesthetic taste on a platter.
