soundtrack was good, but the whole time i was bothered by my lack of understanding melanie griffith’s appeal. now i’ve wasted a lot of time on her wiki, don’s wiki, tippi’s wiki, etc. why did tippi keep lions and other big cats around after melanie was mauled by a lion, almost taking out an eye? because i watched this movie i now know that dakota johnson had hunter s thompson as a neighbor and saw him as a godfather-like figure. i wonder if ray liotta and jeff daniels were friends.
