  every 5 years, 3 months and 4 days, beatrice's comet she is stuck on rotates past the asteroid stan works on. both are completely alone - it seems that stan works as a garbage man, collecting space junk, but beatrice doesnt really do much. stan before is lifeless, doing his duty robotically. but the second he sees her, he sees their entire life together, and he is given the strength to carry on, and on, and on. this short is incredibly sweet and i desperately wish there were more.

  also, i dont know how to say this, but stan yearns like a depressed lesbian.
