Nightmare fuel. So many tense moments and such an emotional soundtrack. I hope I'm never on either side of this with my first love and I (from middle school)

The Graduate 1967
This was a wild ride haha but very cool glimpse into late 60s California and what people were like at the time (especially in terms of modesty and social norms). Very relatable post grad existentialism despite being so long ago and I'm assuming the heavy presence of water/swimming is a direct symbol of drowning in the possibilities of where life can go after college graduation. This was also beautifully shot and another instance of being surprised at how impressive cinema was early on

Nosferatu 2024
Huge fan of Robbert Eggers' works of historical horror and this only adds onto the list. The wardrobe and vernacular choices are always a joy to respectively watch and hear and bonus points for being able to fully comprehend the dialogue (because I struggled deciphering the speech in The VVitch and especially The Lighthouse). Count Orlok's voice/accent was extremely impressive and cinematography was spectacular as always. I'm not too impressed with the direction of the plot, but I will pin that fault onto the original Nosferatu.
