  Was holding space while watching

  This was gonna be a 3 star review but the ending persuaded me to put half a star on. That ending was amazing, I love the little references to the Broadway production such as her cape expanding, Idina Menzel & Kristin Chenoweth showing up. Before I saw the movie I saw Cynthia Erivo as annoying, arrogant, cocky and i truly believed she would be a shite wicked witch… how I was wrong, I still disagree with…

  L.B. Jeffries is limited to his apartment and can only observe his neighbourhood, and how the camera never leaves his apartment. The diverse range of neighbours and their individual tales are expertly woven together. The enigma and tension are quintessential Hitchcock troops. The performances of Jimmy Stewart and Grace Kelly are superb, resulting in an exceptional film experience. Although I do think the movie is a bit slow in the beginning and takes a while to get going but that doesn't make the movie boring, it just excites you more. Overall, "Rear Window" is a masterpiece and would be enjoyed by a lot of people.
