  I don’t usually review films that haven’t been released this current year - but fuck this film.

  It’s framed as a break down of a marriage but really Goslings character is an abusive asshole from beginning to end, Williams character development is half-baked and there is basically no substance elsewhere in the film, like watching a 2 hour soap. 

  Just to add again, fuck Dean, the abusive asshole.

  I know a lot of the lines and scenes in this are shallow and cliche and I know the film is the biggest Oscar bait of this years season…

  But I’m well and truly baited, the film had me leaving the cinema with a big smile on my face, if that isn’t what you go to the cinema for then what is!?
