  Movie Request #505 - I'm just a sucker for movies that take place in small communities. They remind me of growing up. I loved the acting in this movie. Felt down to earth and approachable. It was also an interesting story of someone that I didn't know existed. I want more movies that feel small like this one does.

  Movie Request #504 - One of the hardest to watch movies I've ever seen. It is crude, disgusting, and generally unpleasant. The musical numbers were bad. The only good thing I can say is the effects looked good

  Movie Request #445 - Jeff Bridges is great and carries this movie. Almost feels like "A Star is Born," without being over the top. Everything has a much more subdued and real feel to it. Plenty of movies have tackled addiction better than this movie, but the intimate nature of Crazy Heart is what sets it apart. We have scenes that show off Bad's issues, but none of them are more than the sum of this movie.

  I'm not a country music fan, but I'd let Jeff Bridges sing to me until the cows come home.
