  I love how everyone is wearing armor and clanking around the whole time. I love how young they made Guinevere in contrast to Arthur and Lancelot. I love how nothing happens. I love how incredibly pessimistic this is. I love that all the servants wear bowler hats and look vaguely Amish. I love how many shots there are of horses’ hooves and long, pointy armored shoes. I love how pathetic Gawain looks dying of his chest wound in orange leggings. Absolutely perfect ending. God isn’t dead, he just hates you, specifically.

  We were originally going to watch Lancelot du Lac or Perceval but those didn’t pan out so we settled on this which ended up also being a Lancelot/Holy Grail movie because life works in funny ways!
