Really good film, the connection to the Naru is built up superbly. It follows the same trope of Arnold learning how the Predator exists and how it learns, but with a lot more subtlety and nuance. There are some great call backs to the original film as well which makes it really enjoyable to pay attention to and see.
There are bits I didn’t like, however that’s because I love animals and didn’t enjoy watching the animal murder scenes HOWEVER I will admit they serve purpose in the story by establishing that it’s not strictly Predator vs Prey, it’s a battle to make the Apex Predator.
