    enjoyed it!

    I think whether it’s a success or not probably hinges on what you want out of it: as a ridiculous 2025 version of Sleepy Hollow, I think it works great. as a serious elevated horror thing which is what I suspect Robert Eggers thinks it is, it’s too ridiculous to have any emotional impact.
