There was so much here that I wanted to love — the body horror, the Cronenberg-like practical effects, the exploration of aging as a woman and the self-hatred surrounding it, an interesting and pained relationship between two selves that was fraught and doomed from the start — but the movie unfortunately fell flat for me.
