Damn, what a film.
It’s films like this that inspire me to be a filmmaker. Requiem for a Dream has a fairly simple plot but executes it in such a creative way. The entire themes of addiction and having multiple different stories all happening at the same time made this such an interesting watch. The film is very dark and gets quite disturbing towards the end but is all built up to perfectly.
I also adored the editing in this. It was full of energy and so unique that really makes the film standout and adds to its chaotic nature.

This is the Suicide Squad film we deserved. It has a decent story with great comedy and the characters are handled really well. I really like the dynamics between Harley and Deadshot and the conflict that follows with him and the Joker. The cast is also really good, Kevin Conroy is great as usual and I was so surprised that Giancarlo Esposito was in this.
