I just finished watching this film for the first time and I honestly have to say that if it had been for me I probably would have never seen it. It's not my usual type of film but it turned out to be something different from what I expected. I didn't like it so I'm not recommending it to you. I found it really depressing and over-pessimistic, I don't want to spoiler it but basically anything positive happens here. I'm…

Today was my first time at the Venice Film Festival, the 73rd - 2016. I only saw this movie, from the restored section, because I wanted to see something different, that you don't usually see in the cinema and I adored it, it's brilliant, the two main actors are probably the most important of the 30s and they are, in fact, very very good, as the side actors as well are, better than a lot of actors from our days.…

Together with the other 2 films this is a huge part of my childhood since I've always dreamed to be like Sissi when I was little. Even to this days I believe that Romy Schneider is one of the most beautiful actresses of all time and, being a 1956 film, it's pretty good quality. In this second movie we can see the birth of Sophie, Sissi and Franz's daughter and at the same time the difficulties that her education bring…

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2

    ★★★★½

Last chapter of an extremely popular saga. It felt surreal going out of the cinema when the film ended, I still remember that feeling although finishing the book was even more sad. This movie is full of emotional moments, especially if you always followed the saga before, basically if you grew up literally together with Harry, Ron, Hermione and everyone else. Emotional, sad, surreal, full of adrenaline but after 5 years of re-watching the movie I'm still not sure how I feel about the epilogue when they are all grown up, married with children. But after all what can I say, I love Harry Potter!!
