Obviously the thing that jumps out about this movie is how good it looks. As a fan of architecture I was in love, and the moodily lit high contrast shots mimicking the idea of using black and white film but having these moments of bright orange fire was wonderful. One particular scene that stood out was Thomas on the cross roads with the snow lightly falling above him. Beautiful. Not to mention the use of shadows.

I love a movie that jumps back and forth through time putting the puzzle together, watching them come together and prepare to leave simultaneously the way that memories are non-linear and just pop up when they are most relevant.

Depressing af and just kept getting more bleak. Loved it.
“Go and love some more” feels like the inspiration for “now we know how” in the movie Her. Always a huge fan of a movie about a romance that can never really be. A couple of weirdos born too far apart who find eachother and get to enjoy what little time they have.
