  Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story 2007

  In my opinion the best John C. Reilly film, and perhaps that's because Will Ferrell isn't anywhere to be found, but it could also just be the stellar pacing of it. It's a phenomenal comedy and one of the funniest films in the world with some of the best comedy cameos.

  I think about many character lines from this film on a daily basis, and, on top of it all, the music is so competent sometimes that you actually forget what kind of movie you're watching.

  Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby 2006

  I am far from Will Ferrell's biggest fan. I am very far from being that. But this isn't just one of his better characters, it's one of his best comedies. It's not perfect, but, heaven as my witness, it's actually pretty close. Hilarious and shockingly quotable.

  A very powerful, very sad reveal of the obvious: that the United States government has always loved to hurt people, and will continue to celebrate death and pain until finally stopped.

  May the next generation be the one which watches this and feels nothing but regret.
