  I thought I was going to be getting Mr. And Mrs. Smith, but turns out she was giving Agatha Christie and I loved.

  “Black Bag,” lives up to its name: elegant, sleek, but simple. It gives an excellent mystery that remains unpredictable throughout the entire movie, constantly changing your theories and hypotheses.

  You get the sense that there is something “off” right from the beginning of the film, through the editing, acting, especially from Caplan, and overall vibe created by the sound and production design. Then, at the drop of a hat, we as the audience are plunged down a completely insane and horrific fairy tale, with twists and turns the moment you least expect it, through the eyes of a young boy.

  Thoroughly enjoyed watching this film, a fantastic edition to the modern horror genre.

  Normally I don’t compare remakes, and try to think of them as their own entities, but with this being a remake of an INCREDIBLE Danish horror film that only released two years ago, it’s kind of hard to keep them separate.
