  Seconds meets Death Becomes Her directed by Cronenberg and Verhoeven. 

  I admire the high concept, maximalist gore and bizarre almost Lynchian sense of humour. In fact, there’s a lot of Lynch here, from Demi Moore’s makeup smudging scene (Wild at Heart), to the bizarre night call (Lost Highway), to the eerie LA quality that Mulholland Drive creates.

  boring is the new scary apparently, and if you have lots of colours and shallow depth of field your film "looks good" too apparently.

  can't wait for all the upcoming filmmakers who are now given permission to write non-narrative, empty films with overbearing metaphors...
