  First of all ACAB; something extremely disturbing comes up when you mix Sicilian code of silence with police brutality.
  Benigno, who plays Natale, used to live in my neighborhood, so the themes of the movie feel peripheral to my upbringing.
  I personally dislike the hero/saviour narrative, although the "good" teacher in this movie doesn't seems to be a classic example of it: he kisses Mery (a student) just to prove a point, he brings a (fake) gun into the dormitory…
