In the genre of Queer-Horror-Comedy-Western-Cannibal films, this film is not only an achievement, but it is super delightful.
It also has a pretty crazy soundtrack and an epic final boss fight scene.

I just love the insanity of this movie. I remember sneaking into this movie at the theater after watching Trick or Treat and we snuck in right at the basketball scene. That was an awesome introduction to what became one of my favorite movies.
I love the cast in this so much, but the story is just mediocre and generic. The effects are also mediocre (like the generic looking vampire creatures), and many of the one-liners are cringe. There are some cool visuals like the desert train and the Priest hot rod motorbikes, and some decent fight sequences, too, but not enough to really make the movie better.
I put this flick into the same genre as Resident Evil and Underworld, which are fine…

The last (or most recent) of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre series sees it as a proper sequel to the original. I think anyone taking a crack at any aspect of this franchise has a big job to take on. Some in this series have done well, others...not so much.
I actually enjoyed this one. Not so much the characters, they were mostly just 'meh' to be truthful, maybe even bordering on annoying, and I wasn't ever really rooting for any…
A little slow overall, but this movie has charm. There are some quirky characters and some pretty alright kills. The practical effects are good, the best being the Genie when he finally shows up.
In the end, I just thought this was ok.
