  Very few films have as much charm as Taika Waititi films effortlessly ooze. And Boy is no exception. One of Taika’s earliest films, we see him at his best in both performance and writing and directing. 

  Boy is heartfelt, humorous and most importantly has the feel of a person in love with cinema behind it. It solidly takes it’s place as my third favourite Taika Waititi movie. A testament to the strength of his other works.

  Talk to Me 2022

  It is truly refreshing to come upon a movie that lives up to the title horror movie as much as “Talk to Me.” There were scenes in this movie that were so hard to watch and genuinely made me sick. This, coupled with excellent tension, a bleak atmosphere and brilliant acting performances (particularly from Joe Bird as Riley) made Talk to Me feel like a breath of fresh air in the bloated market of horror movies.
