This movie is offensive on so many levels but I couldn’t help rewatching it as there are so few good horror movies that I’d watch and this one for a horror film is really good. Nevertheless, I am getting aleepless nights 😳

Dark Crimes 2016
So clearly there is Jim Carrey and then there is Jim Carrey! And against Charlotte Gainsbourg in this film! CINEMA! The plot is based on a true crime story of a convicted murderer, which I was familiar with. It has the unique Polish movie atmosphere that I know from Kieslowski polish film ( not the French ones), I read some reviews for it and they were not positive because of Charlotte Gainsbourg’s character. I personally like the darkness,gloominess, ugliness and unpleasantness of this film. It’s good to remember it is a crime drama based on a TRUE CRIME STORY before setting expectations.

This is one the funniest films I have ever watched. It has one of the most unsexy scenes of a sex scene in history of cinema. It is so critical of everything and everyone and does it so tastefully. I just love this film.
