  I’m a pretty niche audience here, but basically Church + Survivor is going to be up my alley. 

  Lots of really important stuff here for the Church that is unfortunately getting lost in the culture war discourse and misunderstandings of Catholicism. I thought the film did a great job of showing the destructive power of…power. But at the same time I felt like the movie maintained the humanity of these incredibly broken characters.   “meaningless, meaningless, everything is meaningless”

  Showed this at youth group last night, partially because to me it’s the quintessential youth group movie (along with Princess Bride), and partially because I already bought it on prime for something else.
