Simply incredible. I applaud Paul Schrader’s choice of intercutting reenactments of Mishima’s stories into the grand story of his life. Everything we make is an embodiment and extension of our identities. Every story Mishima wrote reflected the personal evolution to the eventual coup d’etat and suicide by seppuku that defined his life.
