Roman Holiday 1953
I mean, what can I say that hasn’t already been said? It’s a classic love story, it’s a story that keeps you engaged, it’s lighthearted and yet the ending is... so sad. Peck and Hepburn have great and believable chemistry. This film deserves the hype it gets.

Charade 1963
So so so good! I thought Hepburn and Grant had amazing chemistry and the mixture of sixties absurdist humor and actual thrill was awesome. Every reveal had its purpose. Not to mention that Audrey’s Givenchy wardrobe was amazing. There wasn’t much to dislike about this movie. It had a good, solid plot and I thorougly enjoyed it.

Anatomy of a Murder 1959
Am I a complete outlier for hating this movie? Yes. But I despised every second of it. This is three hours of my life I’ll never get back. Lee Remick’s character is brutally assaulted but she’s still a flirty and bubbly and talks about it like you would talk about going to the grocery store? Okay...
Listen, I like relic of its time sexism in a film as much as the next guy, but this is just next level bad.…Translated from by -
Marnie 1964
I feel bad that the two Hitchcock films I’ve liked the least thus far are the only two Tippi Hedren ones, because her acting was great. The chemistry between her and Sean Connery just wasn’t there for me. As for the plot itself, it’s bizarre, which can only be expected for a Hitchcock film, but it was almost too out there. The ending happened way too quickly for me, and it was all in a whirlwind. I wish it had been a slower reveal.
