I think if you go into this expecting anything like Osgood Perkins’ Longlegs you’re going to be disappointed and confused. But if you’re expecting it to be the over the top black comedy that it is you’ll be down for the ride.
Lots of good sign gags and references to horror movies of the 80s, especially King stories like Misery and Pet Sematary. Saw this with friends and laughed a lot, it’s a great one to see with a crowd.
I’ll always be on board for an existentially optimistic comedy, this movie is charming, and funny. I’m glad I bought it sight unseen because I can’t wait to show this to everyone I know!
It does not hurt that the two leads are very hot and have a great friendship chemistry.
