I was at a loss for words last time i watched this. I’ll try this time to sum up more of how i feel about it now that i had the privilege of viewing it on a theater screen.

Put very simply, i think this may be one of the only perfect films I’ve ever seen. A film doesn’t have to be perfect for me to give it 5 stars, as evidenced by how many I’ve given out recently and…

Screenplay is actually crazy good if you can get past… wait that can’t be right… the whole premise?

Oh boy Fox News is gonna haaaaate this one.

Yeah i cried during the Barbie movie, like a man. But i also laughed unexpectedly hard. Has one of my favorite jokes ever.

    Greta Gerwig is a genius.

Absolutely devoid of subtlety in the absolute best way. I almost always hate that, but not this time.

I actually have a sort of hard time believing this exists like damn Hollywood and Mattel what’s the angle here.

Barbenheimer off to a great start

    I simply… ah.

Still hits. I actually got to watch this in a full theater this time. This opened in France this weekend and i attended the Sunday matinee in a Parisian art house theater. What a lovely experience. Cinema touches people everywhere in similar and different ways. Had a guy walk out towards the end sort of angrily, had a guy stuck in his chair with a stunned look on his face for several minutes. I’m seeing mostly smiles…
