The Talented Mr. Ripley 1999
I was always intrigued about what would happen, but wtf did he want? If you can’t have sex with the guy, become him? Don’t care for the ending either. This gave me “Catch me if you can” vibes, but not the same payoff.

I really enjoyed this movie. Ryan gosling is hilarious. The mix of romance, comedy, and action worked here better than in most rom-com/action movies I’ve seen. Plus, the stunts are awesome. I appreciated the one scene that you could clearly see the stunt doubles face on the helicopter, a neat little nod to the stuntman.

I’ve been wanting to watch this one for a while and it did not disappoint. I admit I was confused at the start but onceI figured out the motives of the characters, this movie really picked up and kept me excited for the next scene. The suspense and wait to see what’s next is off the charts in this film. Stellar cast tops it all off.
