The Brutalist 2024
Really gives you everything you put into and then some. Every person and every set is so fully alive and breathing. Brutalism is an architectural style built on exposing the foundation of the building, and this movie similarly lays everything bare. When America is laid bare what we see is the extraction and exploitation that necessarily fuels our dreams.
Huge shouts out to the use of light which directs the viewers eye in the same way that the architecture does.…
