  First 40 minutes is the main character retelling and us seeing the first film. After that it’s good but damn.

  Soft reboot of the original. All the same plot points. The violence is much more tame than the original. Kills happen just off camera a couple times. Seems made for TV the way it’s edited. It maintains the grittiness of the original although to a lesser extent. Acting is decent for what it is. The young girl is confusing because the actress is clearly much older than the character. It’s jarring. Movie starts w a homeless guy in homeless guy rape scene, which is worth noting.

  More originality and charm than the second one. Fun effects but shitty blood, idk it was weird and different every  time. Barely earns that extra half a star from me. Didn’t look ultra low budget and shot well enough. Fun performances from the actors.
