The Holdovers 2023
I went alone to see this and sat next to an older man who also came alone. We laughed and snickered at the same parts of the movie when no one did. When the credits rolled, he turned and said “It was good watching the movie with you,” and I said the same. Then we parted ways. I really needed that touch of good humanity tonight. It felt very similar to the message of the movie too.
Not really a review, I just wanted to document this memory.
