  Wow I have so many thoughts.  I wanted to see this movie for a few reasons.  First, Rachel Zegler and her singing which did NOT disappoint, as per usual.  Second, Patrick Page as the magic mirror, who gave an excellent performance in the handful of appearances he had in this film.  Lastly, Jeremy Swift and Tituss Burgess who played Doc and Bashful respectively.  They and the rest of the dwarfs, who I realized were never referred to as dwarfs in…

  This was a strange movie.  Overall pretty good but odd. 

  Tom Hanks put in a nice performance as Gepetto.  He was very endearing and gave the character a level of depth that the original film lacked. 

  CGI Pinocchio was hard to look past.  I had a difficult time suspending my disbelief.

  Whoa. 

  This movie was insane.  Marvel somehow continues to outdo itself.  Sam Raimi is an absolute genius and Danny Elfman wrote a banger of a score.  Benedict Cumberbatch was delightful as always, as was Benedict Wong.  Elizabeth Olsen brought a new level of scary to her role as Wanda Maximoff that I was not prepared for.  I’m glad that Rachel McAdams had a larger role than her previous turn in the first Doctor Strange film.  Xochitl Gomez was also very…
