Stop Making Sense in IMAX is the most fun you can have at the movies. The band's joy and passion to be singing, playing and dancing together is so contagious I don't think I stopped smiling for the whole runtime. This film is the perfect fusion of my love of film and music, it's interesting because I usually find that fusion with soundtracks and scores. I never would've thought to feel that with a concert movie.

I felt somewhat of an emptiness about this film, but I cannot deny the somber aura of the small theatre once the lights came on; pondering melancholy.
Once realizing that the film is not in real-time, and is being watched back by future Sophie on her young father Callum's old camcorder, it begins to make sense.

Not sure what made me want to re-watch this, but glad I did. Despite obvious plot-holes it's a great concept with plenty of emotional weight
Loudest in the room, amiright? There is not a single flaw in this film. There is so much on the table here, and I’m sure I’ll notice even more on a second viewing.
First movie at TIFF and first movie premiere. Probably my favourite cinema experience ever.

A Difficult Year was a hilarious movie with an interesting concept that delves into the underworld of political protest while being self aware of its absurdity at times. The movie didn’t pick a side, and ended with the perfect “Hoax”, as the director put it.
