This movie wasn't very coherent, so I'm bringing that spirit into my review.
- stop making everything spin and shake. zooming in on something doesn't make it dynamic.
- erotic birth scene combining elements of baptism, bondage, spiders
- did they give her a US birth certificate in the spider/baptism/birthing pool? does the US foster system accept deliveries?
- las arañas literally means the spiders. "peptides supercharge them" "like the spiders?" "no, the spiders are mythical beings"
- heterosexual cruising??????????????????????…

This movie tried to have too many storylines in it, and only one of them was really good. The plot didn't really hang together for the most part, leaving me frequently wondering why people were at the places they were and what they were doing there. For example, in the Stuart/Julie story, I kept asking myself questions like "Isn't Julie's house just over the hill? She doesn't seem to be going there." or "Julie is meeting her mom at church?"…
