The effort to connect all the stories both to coffee and to each other by characterizing them as "suspended"/"in suspense" was pretty contrived. Still, it was a fine show for casual viewing over breakfast.

If you wanted to watch a movie about a black man who gets a job where he has to pretend to be white on the phone until his attempts to succeed in an exploitative profession prompt criticism from his politically radical girlfriend, but thought BlacKkKlansman lacked clarity of purpose and contained a few too many slurs for comfort, I would recommend Sorry To Bother You (2018).
