  Man, oh man. Go to a sneak preview they said, it will be fun, they said.

  Well, it wasn't, haha.

  Poorly written, slow story, bad acting, no emotion generated, no suspense at all (although the music indicated that they were trying to create some), and the ending felt way to American, sudden and obvious.

  I wanted to walk away a few times but wasn't done with my popcorn 🍿

  But I loved the parts of the movie when Coltrane's record was played though.

  Aki Kaurismäki is an expert at capturing the emptiness and mundanity of daily life.

  This movie perfectly suited my Sunday depression.

  And the way Aki uses light is amazing. It reminds me of Edward Hopper (1882-1967), but with low contrast.
