i mean yeah it’s great and didn’t feel like three and a half hours and to me felt like everything Oppenheimer tried to be last year and more.
This movie was a lot of things, but I was particularly struck by the fact that we don’t actually get an explanation during the movie from Laszlo about what his building is supposed to represent. Not that we are owed one, but it was jarring to hear the speech at the end…

love me a freaky ass unserious movie plus free showing with full theatre that laughs and gasps just makes everything 10x better
super gorey and the plot and themes are comically bad but not much you can do with a move where “you wind up the monkey and someone dies” as the only source of tension so credit where credit is due
