A quite fun ordeal, through and through.
I can see why Anderson is held in such a high regard, and why people would get fatigued by his hyper stylised flair; I assume this is probably as good as it gets, because I can't find a single flaw myself.One of the rare "must-see" films worthy of the label.

Watched it in a bus en route to Montenegro, and it still gripped my attention.
Plot, acting, technicalities, everything is top notch.
Now, for the message and truthfulness of the story, I cannot speak much, but what I can say is that one needs to see this film for McConaughey's and Leto's performances alone, and for what can be done with a tight budget if you know what you're doing.
