I wanted to like this so bad and i feel like a hater reading all the positive reviews but this really felt like the director was like … how sad and insidious can we make this film. it was a series of unfortunate events that after a while stopped resonating emotionally. And the hair salon scene felt anti-black tbh . Oh no the horror of an Afro! Everyone is making fun of me because my hair looks like an Afro! meh😴
