In 2013, Cage admitted that he regrets the decision, and explained: "When you're drawn, in a way it says more about how children are going to see you than anything else, and I so care about that."
Tiny slasher production gets right what so many of the bigs get wrong. The last third is really great!
Love the too infrequent occasion where everyone files out of a theater shocked by how wonderful their last two hours were, some completely quiet and others raving about it.
Will always be perfect to me. This made me lose so much sleep as a child, and I thought about it constantly until I was able to get it on dvd in high school.
Aside from terror-nostalgia, I still think this holds up so well: well acted, interesting characters, a torturous, long boiled sense of dread leading to a few incredible shocks, those glowing eyes. Idk, what’s not to love?
